  • To prevent harming the coatings, avoid dry rubbing on the outside optical surfaces
  • The approved storage temperature range is from -55°C to 70°C.

Schmidt and Bender Zenith Mounting

Mounting should be done by experts. Proper mounting is paramount to ensure the scope and gun bore are perfectly aligned. If you want to get the best performance and functionality the scope should be mounted in such a way that the remains centered within the available range of adjustment. If you want to achieve the above performance and functionality, mounts with both windage and elevation are highly recommended. The mounts should be quality and should easily be refit or remachined when needed to align with the bore.

Dustproof and Moisture Proof

These scopes have high-quality seals, they are made with top-notch workmanship and have undergone many tests for leaks, nitrogen filling makes the scopes waterproof up to a depth of  3metres even with windage and elevation caps removed. Illuminated scopes must have the battery caps in place to seal and remain waterproof.

FlashDot Technology

This innovative technology makes these scopes market leaders. The technology with great precision will clearly show your target even with low light conditions. This technology makes the scopes usable both at day and in low light conditions or even in bright snow conditions. When the technology is turned on there is a red dot on the center of the reticle and when turned off the reticle will function just like a non-illuminated scope. This technology can be turned off by setting the illumination control on ‘0’.

Schmidt and Bender Zenith Eyepiece Adjustment

For proper adjustment, the first step is removing the lens caps. Se the magnification to the highest setting and turn the eyepiece all the way until it stops. After doing all that, while looking at a large bright object at 100 yards turn the eyepiece to the right until the focus is clearest.

Changing the Battery

In the windage turret cap, there is a compartment for an extra battery, press on the edge of the battery and tilt it out to remove it. To change the battery follow these steps

  • Loosen the cup on top of the illumination turret
  • Remove the used battery and have it disposed in the right way
  • Insert the new battery making sure the + symbol is visible on the upper side before replacing the battery cap
  • The battery should only be replaced in dry conditions
  • In medium settings, the battery should give you 100 hours
