Tools required

• 14mm wrench for bolts
• 13mm wrench for Nylock nuts
• 17mm wrench trap to base mounting
• 5mm Allen wrench for  sticker pole or the horseshoe
• 4mm Allen wrench for the safety ring holder
• 2.5m Allen wrench for limit switch adjustment

Assembly Steps

1. Remove the strap from the box and check if all components are in and in good condition
2. Bolt the axle onto the base
3. Wheels installation on the axle
4. Insert the wheel clamps and washer onto the axle
5. Bolt the first section on the pull handle and the base
6. Bolt-on the handle section of the pull handle
7. Mount the trap body to the base with great care
8. Installation of the safety ring at the front and back of the trap
9. Installation of the safety ring
10. Set the throwing arm to the twelve o’clock position
11. Insertion of the front hook of spring Into eyelet
12. Push the mainspring bolt through the hole located at the back of the trap
13. Attachment of the long stacker poles to trap and opening of the side facing the back of the trap
14. Installation of the horseshoe ring onto stacker poles and the tread short poles onto longer stacker poles. the horseshoe ring should be on top
15. Install  the  4  safety ring holders, 2 for the front and 2 for back
16. Without overtightening  have the collar and tension knobs on the mainspring bolt

Raven Clay Pigeon Thrower Operation

• The first step is placing the trap on level ground
• Make sure the toggle switch is off before you start loading
•  Load the clay pigeons/ targets into the stacking poles
• Have the  foot pedal  connected
• Connect the battery by connecting the electrical clamps
• Adjust the trap to  your desired throwing angle
• Turn ON the toggle switch and the trap will cock
• The trap is ready for use, operates as per the guidelines and all safety precautions
• Use the foot pedal or wireless remote to throw  the clay targets

 Safety Precautions

• Disarm the trap whenever you need to make adjustments to the trap or when the trap is not in use, this is done by moving the toggle switch to the disarm position and by depressing the foot pedal. The disarm position is the twelve o’clock position which reduces the spring position.
•  Never let the trap sit unattended or near children while cocked
• Always stand behind the unit
• Wear proper eye and ear protection every time you use the trap
• Never enter the throwing arm path especially when the trap is cocked
• Disconnect from the battery when the trap is not in use
• Never have any part of your body near the throwing arm or inside the safety ring when the trap is connected to the battery or cocked

Troubleshooting

• Timing and clays not dropping properly: adjust the limit switch at the rear of the trap
• Arm stops too early: move the limit switch to the left
• Arm stops too late. Move the limit switch to the right.
• Clays not dropping: Flush onto the arm and check if the feeder brushes are bent
• Blown fuse: Use replacement fuses inside the box
